Great event last night for our little company ...
Under the chairmanship of the Grand Master of GODF and presence of number of advisors of the College, we had this 25 January 2008 the great pleasure of playing the part in the temple 1 of rue Cadet in Paris (Temple said Arthur Groussier "), arch-packed for the occasion. About 300 spectators were present as well, and lay brothers Masons met to monitor the tragic and moving story of our hero.
Stephen Russell had adapted his production to rise to the peculiar configuration. Indeed, in addition to a relatively small platform, a central span of 30 m length allows players to move between the audience seated on either side facing the aisle ... And of course we did not use this private scene all at very atypical.
Antonio de Carvalho, our magician lights, asked eight mats 4 m height for hanging projectors "gelatin" powerful ( pars) and other more specific ( cuts). The result was spectacular in this part responsible for symbols, the great Marian background "scene" to the square, the compass, the stone marker, and of course, the venerable office of the top of which I cast the show, perched like a politician at the Tribune ... or rather by Zola Accuser. All signs Masonic
that fit so well with the text Pierrette Dupoyet.
A very, very nice evening and then a captivated audience. Suite can be in Lyon in September at the general meeting of the College. In a conference center and front ... 1,000 people this time. Still a challenge but is not this precisely the challenges (Art, of course!) That motivate and thrill directors and actors?
