In sports such "weird" here's "ice cross downhill" or "extreme skating downhill." 4 skaters are racing on a track longer than 300 to 400 meters in elevation, the first bottom having won. The dress resembles that of hockey. The layout, including ribs and slopes, sharp turns and jumps, reminiscent of cross snowboard or ski. The races take place in town to thousands of spectators. Spectacular!



discipline has existed for a dozen years. But the Red Bull Crashed Ice, a sort of world championship, every year is more extensive. The circuit 2011 has just begun: the first stage took place 15 days ago in Munich. Follows Valkenburg (Netherlands) on Saturday. Then Moscow on February 26 and March 19 Quebec.



Twenty nations are represented. Finns, Swedes, Canadians generally share the podium with some Czechs.
