Producer, writer, director, Sonia Medina works

for many years on the theme of identity.

These new focus with humor and self-mockery

the ravages of Exile "by proxy" through the

informed view of the child she was.

You know what a Tunisian Jewish family?

A family

sip of harissa, suffocating under the honey cakes, muffled by the "dinghies", caressing until you suffocate, and knowing you better than your desires. Exiled
, exported, imported and totally lost in Paris without sun, no beach, no gears and no tea jasmine.
My family has drawn up a smokescreen blinding white and opaque, making me grow up in a country that does not exist.
How to live, how to be myself with eden that they believe still alive but whose pathetic ridicule me away from them?
Should I continue chasing a paradise that is not mine? Should I continue to deny the truth, my truth?
These stories may gather out the dreams of a world caught between Tunis and Paris.
And I hope one day be a woman who invents his history, his country, a new land.

"(...) short sequences at the movies, which does not surprise me to

filmmaker that you are first, the whole, seemingly discontinuous but doing

scene after scene, a single film. Albert Memmi
